Founder
Jacqueline Joy Battjes is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, nationally board-certified – DNP, APRN, FNP-BC — Born an only child into a large but aging family, Jackie found herself involved in the care of her many members in many caregiving capacities. The reality of modern healthcare became evident, and she became concerned at the overall lack of care and attention from the majority of medical providers she would meet alongside her family members as they were being treated. The decision was easy; she began her schooling to become an RN and went on from there; there were years in the travel nursing circuits and then later practicing in hospitals under her DNP license, and finally, she was able to grab an opportunity to partner with someone equally excited by her dream to start a specialized medical clinic based upon the premise of listening to the patient and actually addressing their concerns instead of just prescribing a main stream pharmacological patch.
